Useful websites
Over at my blog today I posted a list of my favorite useful websites. These are resources I go to over and over again when I’m working or creating.
Explore Wikipedia locations
Wikimap.wiki is a map of every geotagged Wikipedia entry. Explore your area to learn about local history.
Test your movie knowledge
Test your trivia skills at connecthestars.xyz. The website provides you with two random actors whom you must connect via their past film roles. It’s a fun game and very addictive.
Election results
As election results continue to pour in, check out fivethrityeight.com’s live chat where the experts break down the latest news. This time of year is a great reminder of the flaws in our voting system. View CGP Grey’s video on the trouble with the Electoral College for more on this subject. However, eliminating the Electoral College doesn’t go far enough. View this video by TED-Ed on which voting system is best.
